Babajide Sanwo-Olu has rolled out a new initiative to support senior officials in the Lagos State Public Service with official vehicles, targeting improved performance across key government institutions.
The vehicles were allocated to Level 17 officers, who serve as directors overseeing critical functions within various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
According to the governor, the decision underscores the importance of equipping top-level administrators with the resources needed to effectively coordinate operations and deliver on government priorities.
He explained that enhanced mobility for these officers will enable quicker execution of assignments, better supervision of projects, and more efficient response to urgent responsibilities.
Sanwo-Olu further noted that empowering public servants with the right tools plays a vital role in strengthening commitment and accountability within the system.
He added that a well-supported workforce is more likely to drive innovation, maintain focus, and achieve measurable results in governance.
The development is part of ongoing efforts by the Lagos State Government to improve institutional capacity, raise service standards, and ensure that public sector operations remain responsive to the needs of residents.
