LG Electronics (LG) has reinforced its leadership in smart living innovation with back-to-back exhibitions of its AI-Powered Home Solutions, first at InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi and then at the recently concluded Mega HORECA 2026 exhibition in Nigeria.
The dual showcases highlighted LG’s strategy of aligning global technological advancements with the everyday needs of consumers and businesses across the Middle East and Africa. Building on the momentum from Abu Dhabi, LG brought its innovations closer to home in Nigeria, offering consumers, hospitality stakeholders, and business partners hands-on experiences with its smart ecosystem.
At InnoFest 2026, LG unveiled a portfolio of AI-driven home and lifestyle innovations tailored for the Middle East and Africa market. The exhibition demonstrated how appliances, air solutions, and connected technologies integrate seamlessly to deliver convenience, personalization, and energy efficiency.
Highlights included the LG SIGNATURE WashCombo™, a premium all-in-one washer-dryer with the world’s largest capacity, and the expanded LG WashTower™ lineup, now featuring a new 25-inch model alongside existing 24-inch and 27-inch versions. These products integrate washer and dryer units into a single vertical structure, enhancing usability and space efficiency.
Under the “Fit & Max” concept, LG introduced kitchen appliances prioritizing built-in aesthetics and intelligent functionality. The LG InstaView™ French Door refrigerator with Zero Clearance hinge and AI Fresh technology was showcased as part of LG’s reinforcement of its position as the No.1 refrigerator brand in the region.
At Mega HORECA 2026 in Nigeria, visitors explored intelligent refrigerators with adaptive cooling, AI-enabled laundry systems, smart cooking solutions, and advanced air-conditioning units designed for both residential and commercial use. One highlight was LG’s flagship Eco Solutions Dehumidifier, designed to combat mold and mildew with whisper-quiet operation and up to 23 hours of daily performance.
Hyoung Sub Ji, President of LG West Africa Subsidiary, emphasized LG’s commitment to delivering user-centric, locally optimized solutions, stating: “Through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting value and shared growth in this dynamic region.”
By presenting region-optimized clothing care, kitchen, and cleaning solutions alongside its new dehumidifier, LG underscored its dedication to making global innovation accessible locally, ensuring that cutting-edge technology is not only seen but experienced firsthand.
