PSG Rule Out Osimhen Move as Bayern Circle

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will not be joining Paris Saint-Germain when the summer transfer window opens, despite his blistering form for Galatasaray.

Osimhen has been in red-hot form this season, scoring 17 goals in 25 games, including seven in just eight UEFA Champions League appearances. His performances have attracted interest from several European heavyweights, with Bayern Munich emerging as the frontrunners. Reports from Foot Mercato suggest the Bundesliga champions are preparing for life after Harry Kane, with manager Vincent Kompany giving his approval for a move.

However, PSG have reportedly turned down the chance to sign the Nigerian forward. The reigning European champions are said to be unwilling to meet the €150 million transfer fee and Osimhen’s wage demands of €20 million net per season. Manager Luis Enrique is also understood to be reluctant to sanction such a high-profile move, effectively ruling out the Parc des Princes as a destination.

With PSG out of the race, Osimhen’s next move is likely to be one of Europe’s top five leagues, with Bayern Munich leading the chase for his signature.
