The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a shift in the timeline for the sale and submission of its nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of upcoming party activities.
The party disclosed that the sale of forms, initially scheduled to close on Saturday, May 2, 2026, will now continue until Monday, May 4. Similarly, the deadline for submission has been moved from Saturday to Tuesday, May 5.
Speaking at a press briefing at the party’s national secretariat, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Duro Meseko, said the adjustment became necessary due to the public holiday declared for Friday across the country.
He explained that the extension was also in response to appeals from prospective aspirants who required additional time to complete the process.
According to him, the party’s National Working Committee approved the changes to ensure that all interested members are given a fair opportunity to obtain and submit their forms.
Meseko added that the screening of aspirants will now take place on Wednesday, May 6, following the revised schedule.
The APC maintained that the decision reflects its commitment to inclusiveness and broad participation in its internal electoral process.
