Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has received widespread endorsement for his second-term bid, with strong backing from members of the Osun Redemption Movement (ORM).
The endorsement took place at a colourful and well-attended event at Adolak Event Center in Osogbo, where ORM members pledged massive support for Adeleke’s re-election in 2026 and vowed to defend their votes.
Speaking at the event, ORM Chairman Hon. Adebisi Olatunji said the endorsement reflected the people’s appreciation of Governor Adeleke’s achievements. He noted that Adeleke’s administration has transformed the fortunes of the state and improved the welfare of its citizens.
“Across Osun State today, we have more than 15,000 members, and I promise all of us will definitely vote for Governor Adeleke. This is the only way we can appreciate him,” Olatunji said.
The ORM Women Leader, Mrs. Muritala Rukayat Iyabo, praised Adeleke for promoting women’s participation in governance and restoring faith in leadership through impactful projects. She contrasted his administration with the previous government, which she said neglected the people.
Other leaders, including Hon. Awofisan Rotimi and Hon. Abayomi Ohunmakin Oluomo, described Adeleke as a transformational leader deserving of unalloyed support. Rotimi declared that “nothing will stop the total victory of Governor Adeleke come August 15,” while Oluomo urged Osun residents to continue backing the governor’s vision.
ORM members from across all local governments and area offices of the state gathered in large numbers to endorse Adeleke, with many describing him as Imole, the light, for his efforts in transforming Osun State.
