National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has charged members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I to translate the skills acquired during service into businesses and job creation as they exit the Scheme.
In a farewell message , the Director-General, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the corps members on completing their one-year mandatory service and commended their contributions to nation-building.
He said their commitment at their Places of Primary Assignment reflected the ideals of discipline, unity and selfless service that the NYSC stands for.
“Through your diligence, you have made meaningful contributions to your host communities and to national development,” the NYSC DG said.
He urged the outgoing corps members to remain worthy ambassadors of the Scheme and to apply the training received under the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development, SAED, programme.
“Maximize the opportunities provided under SAED. Use the knowledge and skills you acquired to establish businesses and become employers of labour,” he said.
The DG also called on them to sustain the values of integrity and patriotism, and to remain committed to Nigeria’s unity and progress.
“Building a better nation requires the collective efforts of all citizens. Go out there and continue to contribute positively,” said Nafiu.
