The establishment of a Primary Health Care Centre in Dubaidna, Durumi 3, by the Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council AMAC, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has continued to make a positive impact on the lives of residents.
The facility has brought essential healthcare services closer to the people, making access to medical attention easier and more affordable for residents who previously had to travel long distances to access basic healthcare.
Beyond providing medical services, the centre has become an important intervention in improving the wellbeing of families and strengthening healthcare delivery at the grassroots.
Speaking on the impact of the facility, the Secretary to the Village Head, Phillip Babawa, said residents were now enjoying regular and dependable healthcare services within their community.
He commended the Maikalangu-led administration for prioritising the health and wellbeing of residents, describing the establishment of the centre as a welcome development and a demonstration of responsive and people-oriented leadership.
Babawa also applauded the healthcare personnel working at the facility for their dedication and commitment to serving the community.
According to him, the availability of healthcare services within the community has provided residents with greater convenience and reduced the burden associated with travelling long distances whenever medical attention is required.
For residents of Dubaidna and surrounding communities, the Primary Health Care Centre represents more than just a medical facility.
