In line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, has endorsed synergy with the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited, NCGC, to strengthen access to finance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs.
The Registrar-General/Chief Executive Officer of CAC, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, stated this when he received the Managing Director/CEO of NCGC, Bonaventure Okhaimo on a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja.
Magaji harped on the need for NCGC to leverage the potentials of the MSMEs ecosystem to drive sustainable economic growth and development, promising to collaborate with the NCGC in attaining its mandate.
He encouraged the Company to leverage the Commission’s portal to verify the compliance status of their prospective clients.
The MD highlighted some of the giant strides of the one-year-old Agency established by the present administration to stimulate MSMEs growth and development.
Okhaimo lauded the Commission’s reform initiatives, expressing optimism that with CAC’s support, the NCGC would achieve its goals and objectives.
The NCGC was established by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resolve issues revolving around the SMEs, local manufacturing, and underserved economic sector through the provision of Partial Credit Guarantees.
